Genuine mistake : I don't know how many people use Google Docs when writing blog posts, but it gives you link suggestions based on highlighted anchor text. It's easy to choose the wrong link. I too once accidentally added a link to a similarly named inferior tool like Keyword Explorer. In this case, I think the cause is #3. Anyway, how did I find this? Simple. I threw her Ahrefs Twitter handle ( twitter.com/ahrefs ) into Ahrefs Site Explorer and used the backlink report. Site Explorer > Enter Twitter URL > Backlinks Ahrefs Site Explorer Backlink Report I then exported the report,

Side note. before that, All reference pages have been removed from ahrefs.com . Of the 262 pages I checked, 142 did not link to ahrefs.com. This corresponds to approximately 54%. We then used the Ahrefs batch analysis tool to sort pages by UR. That 's how I discovered the unlinked mention I posted earlier ( from Infobunny). Again, if you only want to track links from new referring domains... Export the backlink report from Ahrefs Site Explorer , copy and paste all referring pages into column A of the Twitter tab in Google Sheets .
Next, "Unlinked Domains" will be highlighted. Note: In the screenshot above, I have excluded all links from ahrefs.com . To do this, just use the filter on column B. If you see a page linking to your Twitter profile when a direct domain link would be better, contact us to exchange links.
